Using a protocol for reading a text, which Navleet facilitated, we tried to understand the difference between listening and being heard. Aneesa then took the lead in persuading students to write steps already discussed onto sentence strips. Daniel then reminded us of our listening skills and helped organize the sentence strips into a manageable timeline. At this point, Jessica facilitated the group through a discussion around the sequencing of events. Hawa jumped in to create an online calendar using the google ap. But the most memorable part might have been when Lori announced that her uncle (the architect) would guide us through the difficult task of creating a 3-D model using the latest technology.
Resources we need to bring for next time:
What is the law of cosines and how/when is it used? [Navleet's Link]
What tools are needed to measure the land? (please post your ideas!)

Measuring the land is going to be really hard, and I think we should start working on getting the blueprints with the proportions of the land, and getting the exact size. If that is not found, I guess we walk out of campus, and meausre the place up with inch tapes
The law of cosines is closely related to Physics. It is used in certain vector applications. It is somewhat intricate and involves the famous law, Pythagorean Theorem developed by the great mathematician Pythagoras. It is fundamentally a triangle application. When you need to find a side you need to know the angle measure opposite from the one you are finding and the two sides. I remember my eigth grade science teacher giving us a brief overview of the topic. We didn't take it into consideration too heavily because at the time our class was very frustrated.
We need to ask Mr. Pugh if we could look at a copy of the blueprints.
Oh!..so do we contact Mr.Pugh..or can the teachers do it? =D
The law of cosines for calculating one side of a triangle when the angle opposite and the other two sides are known. Can be used in conjunction with the law of sines to find all sides and angles.

Basically what this statement is saying is that the law of cosines is used to find the side of a triangle when you are only given angles of the triangle. The law of cosines is part of physics and uses algebra.
The Law of Cosines is the relationship between sides and angles in any triangle. It is used for calculating one side of a triangle when the angle opposite and the other two sides are known.
The tools needed to measure the land are either very long measuring tape or a wheely measuring thingy.
i think we need to use that thing that mr brown said or meter sticks
I think to measure land we need help from engineers because they can tell us how to measure the land accurately.
I think using the blueprints would be a good idea once Mr. Pugh provides it for us but using that measuring tool that most outdoor sports use to see how many yards the ball or person went, would be easier for us to get.
